A woman ends up marrying a psychopath and has to figure out how to get rid of him.
This book is so pointless and repetitive. I am shocked by the good reviews... how is this book rated so high??!!
I feel like this book would have been more interesting if we slowly learned about the antagonist (the husband, Jack) and only saw red flags here and there. Instead, it felt like a child complaining about a mean parent for 80% of the book. We're supposed to feel really bad for the wife, Grace, but she's just really annoying and clueless. It also would have been more engaging if we saw what happens after she finally kills him and how she deals with the police, press, friends, etc.
Overall, this book feels very immature and has no thrills, intrigue, or redeeming qualities. I'm giving it three instead of two stars because it was at least a quick read.
