Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers
by Mary Roach
informative
I've wanted to read this book for a long time (I could've sworn I read it years ago, but apparently not) and it didn't disappoint! It's informative, filled with many details about the human body that you've probably wondered about before and many you've never even thought to wonder about. It's a fascinating journey, honestly, but one you should take knowing that it's a bit graphic at moments and may contain content you're not prepared for. That said, it's fantastic and well done on the whole.
Graphic: Death, Medical content
Graphic descriptions of post-mortem experiments/research and various discussions surrounding what happens to a body after death are detailed in this book. They are described in detail for a good reason, but probably aren't easy for every person to read, so consider yourself forewarned.
