How to Kill Men and Get Away With It
by Katy Brent
this book left me confused?
first of all, TW!!!
the callousness with which the heavier topics were treated was astonishing. i agree that ED almost being portrayed as a personality quirk was very on brand for their group of friends - rich, spoiled influencers but when it came to SA, I didn’t like how it was almost brushed over especially in the end.
the book started off good, kept me engaged but i lost my interest in the plot somewhere in the middle & the end was almost comical and too unrealistic, not to mention very contradictory in nature becausewhy did Hen have to lie to convince Kitty to kill James when that’s the reason why she was there in the first place??? As I said, the book left me confused.
summary: okay-ish plot with the worst characters!
