American Dirt

Hectic. Heartbreaking
It is such a strange and broken world that we live in, to think that refugees and migrants need to endure such suffering amidst all of our technology and prosperity. It is hard to imagine that we can think that our country needs to be first. That we cannot understand that purely through where we were born we now lay claim to the safety and security of the place where we live, where others, on account of where they were born, suffers like this. And then we want to build a wall. We are not well.
We are not well.
