When graves are robbed of treasure,
there’s not enough treasure to go around.
When graves are robbed of coffins,
there are too many coffins to be found.

A somewhat difficult book told from the perspective of a dead boy. A story about his Grandpa, his family, his home. The boy tells a story about his Grandpa's dreams and the ugliest parts of humans' desperation to live in a world where Death haunts their every step. Ding Village is dying, the disease spreading through its streets is killing its people along with any humanity they might have left.

Grandpa found himself gazing at a new and teeming plain.
A new world danced before his eyes.
