reread 1/16/24: This book is way better than I remembered but still like...a mess.

The first 2/3rds at least are so confusing and hard to follow. The mini side quests to go get ingredients for the cure was NAUGHT clear in the slightest...but i digress. The ending was awesome and I still enjoyed this more than the Lost Hero.

I still resent the fact that there are no Percy or Annabeth POVs but I understand the theme of the book was for them to learn to let go and take a back seat because they don't have to do EVERYTHING. And it's nice the book closed with the trio that started us off. (But still they literally just got back from hell I'd have liked to see how that was affecting them mentally.) BUT on the bright side we got Reyna and Nico chapters which were all fucking fantastic. Nico's one sister down but TWO SISTERS UP!
