It’s getting very Game of Thrones in here what with Amaris’ expanding list of monarchs she’s gonna 86. But hey.
Again, the distractions of the missed edits/corrections needed in this book prevent me from giving it five stars, but really, I’m in love with this story. The twists, the turns, the gasps keep me turning the pages. Even when I’m so mad at the characters, I’m still just so invested, which is what escapism fantasy is really all about.
