I read this book because I loved the show on Netflix. In some ways there are many facets of the book I prefer over the show. But I do have issues with some of the choices the heroine and her counterpart make. Consent, while something not cared about enough in history, is so important. It was completely disregarded in a few spots in the book and left a bad taste in my mouth which is the reasoning behind the 3 star review.
