P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
5.0
She did it again guys! Lara Jean's story enchanted me again! It filled me with all the warm and fuzzy feelings that are so missing from my life right now!
This is a gem amongst all the cheesy contemporary YA novels! It's an endearing coming of age book and I love how it describes all the strange and new feelings that the first love gives to a girl. I remember myself feeling all the insecurities back in the day that Lara Jean has with Peter.
However I have to admit I've never experienced liking two men at the same time so I couldn't relate to that part. I guess I've just been diving in for the very first moment 'cause that's how it works for me, how it gets real!
The book tells a story about teenage love, growing up, losing people doing so and in general figuring out life.
There are some really cute family moments, there are some endearing romantic moments and of course there's High School drama!
I wish I could bake like Lara Jean! I'm an amateur besides her!
I think I'm much like Peter in the caring for others part! He's just so fierce in protecting everyone he loves!
I wish I had Kitty's good spirits! She is a constant sunshine in the story, she's a Song girl after all!
And John Ambrose McLaren.. I don't think a guy like him exists in reality!
All in all I enjoyed the story and can't wait to read the third book! I heard bad opinions about it so I'm a bit worried, but I'm an optimist!
I recommend this series to those who just want to sit back and relax and read a refreshing story!
