Brand New Cherry Flavor: A Novel of the Occult by Todd Grimson

3.0

I found myself not very enamored with the plot itself, but Grimson's writing and prose. He's very vivid, describing things well but quickly. And I found myself wrapped up in the relationships he presented, how Lisa interacted with those around her seemed to be more of a focus to me than her involvement and mystery with Boro. Can't say I'd read this again and again, and it took me a while to get through because the plot wasn't very page-turny, but I still really enjoyed it and I doubt this book will leave me for while.
