After having Rebecca and Delphine as main characters for the first two books, it was nice to get to read a bit more into their backgrounds and see them go from 'tolerating' each other to loving each other in their ways. The brooding Saint Sebastian, who has discovered that Auden might be his half-brother, was just everything my angsty heart needed, and seeing Poe and Beckett become closer was just *chef's kiss*, although the ending for them was not fun. These books left us with so much angst that I immediately picked up the next book, which I rarely do. And the audio? A gift from the gods.
