While I enjoyed this book, it felt different than the others in the series and not in ways I liked. I feel like the multiple POVs got really messy and constantly switched, making it so that we barely spent any time in one POV before hopping to the next. It made the story disjointed. I also missed having the mystery aspect of the plot that we experienced in the first two books. I paused after reading the first 2 books so that I could read ACOTAR, thinking that it would add to my experience of reading CC3, but it really didn't make a difference and was not as compelling of a crossover as I anticipated. I found myself LIVING for Lidia and Ruhn's POVs and relationship way more than Bryce and Hunt's relationship. I also really didn't like how Ethan's storyline went, it was painful to see his mistakes over and over again and I also predicted where the story would go, so it was not very enjoyable to slog through his side plot. Overall a fun read, but a let down compared to the others in the series.
