Hot as Heller by Lucy Lennox

4.5 stars. Declan comes to Aster Valley to escape LA and the Hollywood egos whilst Finn comes to Aster Valley from LA to discover who he truly wants to be.
These two wonderful characters couldn’t have had a worst first meeting, it’s definitely not a meet cute, Declan’s preconceived notions of Hollywood actors does not lead to a good first impression of Finn or his friend Kix.
Declan rather quickly does feel a connection towards Finn but tries his best to ignore it.
Finn struggles to find his place in the world, feels lonely and vulnerable, but with Declan by his side he discovers and embraces his true self.
After a dash of angst, some humour and some drama, they finagle their way to their HEA.
The story telling ability of this author once again had me immersed in a perfectly paced romance with a fantastic cast of main and secondary characters who kept me fully engaged and turning the pages. It’s the perfect blend of humour, romance, dramatic moments, steamy moments and side characters that keep things interesting.
