i would die for sally rooney. reading this book after normal people was an interesting experience. there was definitely a difference in the maturity of her writing and very obvious parallels between the characters but i loved it. her writing breaks me down in a way ive never experienced from an author before. i think part of it is because her mcs could easily all be autistic (coming from an autistic person) their thought patterns and the way frances realizes early on she feels and interprets thing differently from the people around her was so relatable for me. ps i hate bobbi
