Phenomenal read. A must for all middle schools, but I can see it go into elementary for sure. It’s about a kid, Will who was called fat in 4th grade and that had a profound impact on him until another kid, Markus, comes along and sees more that his oversized sweatshirts. He sees his drawing talents and they become friends. The format is very approachable and like Diary of a Wimpy Kid has that notebook feel to it so it’s a fast read even though it’s about an inch thick. I love that it normalizes therapy and talking about body image. It’s excellent. A must!
