Lyla stumbles across a man who's hiding from the law while she’s on a hike in the woods. When the cop hunting this man comes to town, Lyla and the cop find they have a strong connection.

The suspense plot was decent enough, if a bit predictable towards the end. The “romance” was just sex, rough sex mind you: the stereotypical he rips off her panties, slams into her and she comes right away kind of sex. But we all know that orgasms = love.

I dunno, this wasn’t anything to make me mad and it’s not like it was bad, per say, but it had a lot of things I just don’t like and it was all very underwhelming and forgettable.

I think I'm officially done with this series. The last 3 have been nowhere as good as the first 2. Jasper Vale gave me hope but yeah, this just meh.
