The book was interesting and at times I was nervous awaiting what was going to happen. It was hard to know who to trust. I think the ‘shift’ at the end was disappointing and brought it from 4 to 3 stars for me. I’ve enjoyed Peter Swanson’s books, but this was my least favorite so far.
