This was such a good book. I really loved how fleshed out the characters were, and I didn't expect where it was really going except I would eventually get my HEA.
I will say that I wish the ending was less jam packed and upsetting OR that they gave more of the ending a longer time because I needed more of the dopamine and happy feelings cause now I'm just sad.
The experience of being a immigrant kid, hit me. My parents were as aggressive as hers were, but there was definitely relatable things in this dynamic.
Overall, a great read. I am glad I got it on audio.
