Upon finishing this delectable morsel of a novel, I was licking my fingers, salivating for more works of fiction by Lianne Zhang. This is her first novel, it's contemporary and a reflection of an era that no doubt will continue to be just as popular of a read as it ages.
I found myself rooting for the main character as her story unraveled, illuminating the gray areas that consist of human frailty. She's not right, but her wrongs are justified.
Another note: this book reads fast. I couldn't put it down, couldn't stop thinking about it. From the minute you open the first page dear reader, you are in for a wild ride! (And excellent prose that flows smoothly from Zhang).
Will leave you hungry for more!!
