Trois mages et une margarita by Annette Marie

The first book in the series serves as an intriguing introduction. Although the plot takes its time to unfold, I found this deliberate pacing to be quite acceptable. What sets this urban fantasy tale apart is the fact that our heroine is a regular human, devoid of any magical abilities – a refreshing departure from the usual conventions. Tori, the central character, resonated with me deeply. She embodies a unique blend of strength, whimsy, unwavering determination, and a genuinely endearing sensitivity.

Then, we have the three mages, who are nothing short of extraordinary. Their presence ensures an unceasing whirlwind of excitement. Their rapid formation of friendship with Tori culminates in a captivating quartet.

This series embarks with strong potential, delivering a vibrant cast of characters and a meticulously constructed world. It effortlessly weaves together humor, action, captivating mages, and a fiercely independent heroine – what more could one ask for ?
