So I finally finished rereading Vampire Academy and just like the first time around, I did it so quickly it’s all mushed up in my brain. I can barely remember any details, but that’s ok, because my love remains intact.
The one thing I remembered from this was Tasha being responsible for killing the queen. And god, that scene is freaking awesome.
I like how bittersweet this conclusion is. Because yes, we got our happy ending: Dimitri forgave himself, Rose and Dimitri can be together, Rose is Lissa’s guardian. Great. But also it’s so sad because Lissa’s queen “against” her will, she realizes his father cheated on her mother, Jill is thrusted into the royal stuff, Christian has no close family left and poor Adrian is heartbroken.
I hold this series very close to my heart, but man I’m ready to reread Bloodlines.
