No because I AM OBSESSED with this book. I did not expect to open this hockey player x figure skater romance and actually SOB and want to hug the characters and never let them go.
Let's start with Sadie Brown. What a freakin' woman. She stepped up to take care of her brothers and has given them her world. Was she grumpy? Absolutely, but wouldn't you be if you were a college athlete trying to take care of 2 boys & working to pay rent for a house she doesn't live in full time all while working on getting a degree and trying to keep your scholarship by being the best figure skater you could be with an abusive coach?? Three words: Strong. As. Fuck.
Now, Rhys. A hockey god in the darkest of dark places after literally almost DYING on the ice during a college game. The mental health representation among these athletes is just great. It's not nearly talked about enough in real life or in books. Also...his vulnerability makes him (dare i say).....literally THE hottest hockey player I've read....jaw. on. floor. Anyways, a broken Rhys meets a broken Sadie and the rest is history.
They are obsessed with each other almost immediately (even if Sadie didn't want to admit it) and their chemistry is just insane. I love love loved the spice, but of course i'm greedy and going to say i needed so much more.
The found family in this book is truly heartwarming and wholesome and everything you could ever want.
I loved this book. Everything about it. It was hot, it was wholesome, it was raw, it was funny, it was EVERYTHING.
