I'm definitely coming back to this once it comes out!

Overall, I really liked the narrators throughout the audiobook and I love that Ali is dabbling in dual POV! It was great to see both Eli and Rue's POVs throughout, especially where their conflicting companies and opinions are concerned.

I will say that right off the bat, I was immediately thrown into their world and while listening, it was hard to comprehend everything that was going on. I will say that I think I would have been more invested in the story if I had physically read it rather than listening to it on audio.

I did really like the backstories of both Rue and Eli and I liked that Ali really put a focus on their mental health and past childhood and adult trauma.

It is by far Ali's sexiest book and there was a scene that specifically will live in my head rent free for a while.

The conflict didn't feel as high stakes as Ali's past work and that deterred me from focusing on the story at times; however, I did enjoy myself and I will be doing a reread with a physical copy.

Thank you PRH Audio for the free audiobook!
