One of my favorite books I've read this year.  While I can't personally speak to main character Georgia's particular form of queerness,  the book does a great job representing a wide variety of queer folks/lived experiences, and its evocation of her internal struggles deeply resonated.  Was also a big enticement to get a coming-of-age story where the focus isn't predominantly (or even exclusively, sometimes) on romantic relationships and the main conflict hinges on friendships instead.  Those friendships are all well-evoked and heartfelt, where it's sad to see them splinter but no one's too big a jerk to grow unlikeable (minus some Pip/Rooney banter that gets a tad cruel, though rarely).  Maybe I'm just a sucker for seeing young queer folks bawl about their feelings and get great emotional support for it, but if that's a crime, I'm getting a life sentence.  It's fun, it's cathartic, it's honest about queer folks' struggles without exploiting them, and most of all, it's wholesome.  Highly recommend.
