This is one of the Amazon Original Stories in the Improbable Meet-Cute collection. I’ve never read a book by Abby Jimenez, but have long had her on my TBR, so this felt like a great way to introduce myself to her. This meet cute follows Holly, a hospice nurse caring for her ailing grandmother, and John, a handyman finding his footing after his girlfriend moved to Japan to be with someone else. 

I loved their story. They would leave things on Holly’s car, and meet face to face without realizing it, after John placed a Valentine on the wrong Honda. The notes they leave are funny and casual, while also being caring and thoughtful. I was convinced they would never realize who the other way.
