At first Landry’s were really mean and unforgiving towards her and she still wanted the best for her daughter in the end. Ledger might have been angry at first, but he gave her a chance to eventually tell her side of the events that happened. So basically what this story conveys the most in my opinion is the love that a mother has for her daughter is unbreakable that being able to let her go and grow up in a stable family even though the family that she’s with doesn’t forgive you for what happened to their son and you’re able to just walk away knowing that your daughter is being well taken care of is the greatest gift you can ever give to your child. Highly recommend this book to not just the readers that are mothers but for the readers who just want an emotional read to feel or understand what a mother would do for their child or children given the circumstances.
