The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon

4.0

I know many people were outraged, because they were mad that the character did not show empathy, or recognize love. While many autistic children can get over this, and show these things, there are some that never do. I enjoyed this book because of the clear cut way it was written. It was definitely a thinking book, but a quick read.

If you are concerned about profanity, there is some mild swearing, but it comes in bouts, so it isn't throughout the whole book.

Overall, I would recommend this book if you want a different type of book.
