Another great novel from P. Djèlí Clark. The Dead Cat Tail Assassins is full of action, funny dialogue and strong characters. I don’t know how Clark has managed to include immersive world building, character development, tense action, and topics like religious mythology, indentured servitude and class systems in such a short book. I loved the power that he gave the women throughout the story and didn’t fall back on the typical oppression of women trope that so many male authors use as a tool for our FMC to overcome.

Such a remarkable tale. I could read more about this world and never get bored.
