I picked up this book randomly as I thought the premise was funny, and it was exactly what I expected from a romance book involving the loch ness monster. The plot was pretty predictable and the characters were fairly tropey (definitely a good book for lovers of grumpy/sunshine and enemies to lovers), but I really enjoyed the world in which the story was set and the characters and their dynamics. I especially liked the charming and upbeat grandfather, Finlay, who is in his own sunshine/grumpy pairing with the grandmother.
Graphic: Sexual content, Death of parent, Abandonment
Moderate: Cursing, Dementia
Minor: Confinement, Violence, Blood
