I always love Emily Giffin's works and I think I read almost all of her works. They read very easily, very enjoyable, and immersive.
I enjoyed this one a lot. Opened in a unusual way. The chemistry between the two protagonists is off the chart and I love it!
However, I really hate the plot twist. Not the twist itself but the reaction of the 2 characters to the twist.
But in the end the main character realizes that she does love him. Make up your mind? You love him or not? So yeah, that part didn't sit well with me and TBH I thought it ruined a perfectly good novel. It made the female protagonist seems a bit wishy-washy and only looking out for herself.
The author fixed it in the end with some explanation but still... I think it's an ink blot that stands out the most to me.

One accuses the other of moving on too fast, almost as if gaslighting. The other came to the realization she doesn't really love the other and only the idea of him. WTH??But in the end the main character realizes that she does love him. Make up your mind? You love him or not?
