The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

4.0

i was really slow with this book.

i've had it sitting on my shelf for months, not really urgent to reading it.

i regret that now.

i've come to love benjamin's words, and how poetic he is with his descriptions, and how vivid and real his characters are. and i've come to love this book too. i love how it was about family, and identity, and not having one clue about who you are, and the stress of senior year and universities which is all too fresh in my mind, and it's also about love. and friendship. and how love can be found in many more forms than just the romantic kind.

i felt warm and loved reading this.

(i also cried but when do i not cry?)
