Amazonia by James Rollins

5.0

“such were the ways of government. rather than attacking the problem aggressively, everyone was still pointing fingers and running for cover.”

I had this book shelved since forever. Finally got to read it and it was worth it. A long thought to be dead special ops guy appears in a missionary in the Amazon and a team is formed to find answers. The story proceeds with the team in danger from the dense rainforest, enemies and many more. It's action packed and i didn't find a dull moment. Loads of mysteries culminating in a single place. A brilliant plot. From Killer Amazonian plants to killer caimans. The book had them all and some more. I would like to read more of Rollins.

A recommendation for anyone who loves science fiction, adventure, Amazon rainforest stories and mystery.
