Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano

5.0

Dear Edward was a book that kept me up all night. I enjoyed it very much. The way the story was told was not my favorite because I felt I didn't get closure with the characters on the flight, which I guess is the point. Edward and his aunt and uncle's relationship felt like it needed to development more...the development it had towards the end was satisfying but it felt too late. Shay and Edward have a complex relationship. I appreciated that the adults in their lives allowed them to have the relationship they did when they were young...that might not have been realistic but I liked that it showed people of opposite sex can be friends, even though it moved into something more when it did it felt appropriate.
