Alien: Sea of Sorrows
by James A. Moore
A really interesting addition that nicely balances more of the same with different. It nicely utilises the well-established formula of a good Alien story but also adds enough differences to give this book its own flavour.
The main character was a likable reluctant hero and the action was well paced and exciting.
It doesn't really have anything to do with book 1 of this trilogy so I'm guessing these book are more of a 'forget everything else you know' books set around what's established in the Alien and Aliens films.
