Reread/relisten same rating of 3 stars
Okay this second read of the book I enjoyed it a lot more than the first time, I was still annoyed at how Josh would push Gabe away all the time. But I hear the series gets better so I wanted to start again!
Now on to book two!
3 stars... maybe closer to 2.5 honestly..
The beginning of the book hooked me in, and unfortunately it lost some of that initial spark as I continued haha
If there was a theme song for this book it would be “Hot N’ Cold” by Katy Perry. I swear it felt like whiplash with Josh pushing Gabe away and getting him back... and by getting him back I mean just getting him back in his pants, they didn’t really feel as if they had a relationship more than sex... I didn’t feel the connection between them which I am bummed about. It would show up occasionally but then go away when josh over reacted, when he thought he didn’t but we all know he did...
Overall it was okay, not sure if I will continue the series even though it kinda ends in a cliffhangerish..
