2.5 stars. I just did not feel like there was any chemistry between the two main characters. No banter (other than “smidge”), and left me feeling like, “okay so why do they even like each other so much?”. And I just didn’t know if the idea that they spent one day together and then she pined over him for an entire year and then was heartbroken for another 9 years felt super believable to me. And then the whole drama at the end felt very rushed and not developed enough for me.
