Of Human Bondage by W. Somerset Maugham

What a full, completed piece. It’s telling of a novel when you find yourself cursing at the protagonist and his shameful acts. Yet, I couldn’t place it down and I’m glad to have experienced such a life. I found myself further questioning the actions of ‘love’. I wish I could find the literary origin of simping. Our Philip here showcases it to the most frustrating core but he also exemplifies what it means to be a full being. What an early adulthood lived. Outstanding. Would recommend.
