Paris: The Memoir by Paris Hilton
5.0

Wow, I’ve always liked Paris Hilton. While she was, and is, a ‘It Girl’, I always found her fun and regular as well and always so positive, welcoming and not taking herself too seriously. Her story had me shocked. Her undiagnosed ADHD had her hating and skipping school. Having the world at her access, she was climbing out windows clubbing in her early teens and getting kicked out of schools. Her parents secretly sent her to youth wilderness boarding schools for 2 years that were so abusive physically, emotionally and sexually, that it is unthinkable that these places are still open. If you don’t want to read her book but want to know more, just read Part 2, I was floored! Her persona that she created is not the person she really is. She is a workaholic and she has earned it all on her own (obviously she had access to the right people, but she stands on her own). Her sleepless nights with thousands of ideas… she started to make them a reality and why she juggles 20+ business ventures at a time. Her ADHD is her superpower and she monetized from it. I always liked her, but even more now. How someone, an heiress, endured what she had to and live in literal survival mode is outrageous (they took away all humanity and self worth). How her parents could have been so fooled and manipulated. She is a fighter and she ran away so many times, just to be dragged back. She is a bad bitch!
