I found this book to be for bigger kids as Le Guin stated at the end. As an adult reading it for the first time, I just didn’t overly enjoy it too much. The adventure was ok but, a little repetitive.
The writing style is definitely not my cup of tea.
I found myself just wanting the book to be finished so I could read something else. It’s from a different generation and if I had of read it say as a kid, I might give it a better review.
Many people rave about this series and state that it gets better but, I’m not sure I want to continue with the whole series especially if the writing style continues. I’m going to assume many who do speak highly of this book/series possibly read it as a kid/teen and have an attachment to it.
