This was not a good book. It was all over the place as far as narrative, the pacing was excruciatingly slow and lots of irrelevant information was added, none of the characters were likeable, and the ending was abrupt and unsatisfying. It has a really interesting concept, so it's a shame that it was this poorly put together. I only bought it because Pedro Pascal narrates the audiobook, and he did a fantastic job.
