This is a masterpice about a controversial time period in Venezuela. It examines the second presidential period of Carlos Andres Pérez, going through each of the crisis it faced, looking at the circumstances and roots of those events. It also includes several interviews with people that had a key role back then, to shed some light on the events and also the general feeling of the time.

In my opinion, it's an amazing work of literature that has a lot of research and thought put into it. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to understand the recent history of Venezuela, but also its present, because those were crtitical years that set the downwards path of the country.
