This series literally has everything right from romance, mystery, good tropes and some really great characters. Vera & Mateo made the cutest couple ever! I felt immediately connected with Vera especially after knowing what happened with her in the last book and Mateo's aura instantly drew me in! He was so hot and his scenes with Allie just made me melt into a puddle! At first, I was reluctant to read this book because there was this baby involved but after seeing baby Allie, I just wanted to smack myself for ever thinking that because she was just the cutest little character and her bonding with Vera was so wholesome! Vera needed someone like her and Mateo in her life and somewhere, the Eden family too filled a gap in her heart which was really beautiful to witness. The communication between Vera & Mateo may have sucked in the beginning but after Mateo saw clearly, I started to love this book even more! The beginning was angsty but the other half was filled with chemistry, loads of sexual tension and some adorable and emotional little moments. Also the bits of the entire family and their individual equation with both Mateo & Vera was wonderfully written and it just made me love this family even more! I'm so sad that it was the last book in this series because we have to bid these characters a goodbye but the epilogues just gave this series a very sweet and strong conclusion. In the end, it's all about family and the Edens will definitely stay close to my heart. I know I'm going to come back and re-read all the books whenever I feel like it because somewhere, this series has become a comfort for me! I just love them all so much and they will always remain special to me. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book. As much as romance, there was an equal amount of mystery which really kept me invested. I highly recommend reading this series if you're into lighthearted yet emotional books with full fledged family feels.
