Green Arrow, Volume 1: The Midas Touch
by Keith Giffen, George Pérez, Ignacio Calero, J.T. Krul, Dan Jurgens, Ray McCarthy
This was painfully bad. DC Comic's The New 52 was supposed to usher in new ideas and this book is so stale and generic its sad. Three writers combined to tell an incredibly dated book that sounded like old men trying to talk like they were in their 20s. It was embarrassingly bad. The first few issues dealt with some random super-powered villains who want internet fame by killing Green Arrow. It didn't go well, for anyone involved. Then Midas and Blood Rose are introduced and it might have been worse. The art, for the most part, was dated as well. DC should be ashamed for this enormous misstep.
