A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
5.0
What a delight this book was. I loved this book so much. The first night I read this book I read a little under 200 pages. I was having so enthralled in the story I couldn't put the book down.
I think the character Harper was written so well. I loved her fierceness, boldness, honesty, and her ability to sniff out bullsh*t. She was fantastic. You find yourself on her side and rooting for her right from the very beginning. I felt for the character Rhen. I found myself rooting for him as well and feeling the pain, guilt, and anxiousness he felt in his need to break the curse and help his people. However, my favorite character was Grey. Oh, how I adored Grey. By the middle of the book, you just want to give him a huge hug and pinky swear to be best friends forever.
This book made me happy and I cannot wait to read the sequel, A Heart So Fierce and Broken.
