The Darkest Corners by Kara Thomas
3.0

This book was really good, but it felt as though there was too much going on. We're following our main character, Tessa, as she goes back to her hometown after her father's cancer diagnosis. She left years ago after she and her friend testified in a case that got a man behind bars. Only, now, she and her friend don't know if they did the right thing.

This book was interesting, and I didn't see a lot of things coming. I didn't guess the 'who done it', and the other mysteries in the book were very interesting. However, it felt like there was just too much going on, and the side characters weren't fleshed out nearly enough.

I wish we had gotten more resolution with the other characters, not just Tessa.
