Tilly and the Map of Stories by Anna James

4.0

Another cozy adventure with Tilly and her friends and enemies. I can't say much that I haven't already said about book 1 and 2. Tilly's adventures are wholesome, magical, and imaginative. My favorite episodes in this one include the literary food served in a train car and visiting a certain Baker Street address.

I did have some trouble getting a good grasp of the magic system this time around though. I'm not sure if it was just me not paying enough attention to the audiobook and facts seeping through my porous memory or if things should've been explained more clearly/more often.

The epilogue was quite interesting and I'm not sure if this concludes the series by bringing it full circle or it hints at further adventures.
