More great writing by Jane Harper in her Aaron Falk detective series. Less mystery in this one but an even deeper look at Aaron and what makes him tick. Exiles has much more focus on interpersonal connection than the first two as well. I was expecting more mystery, and there is a good one here, but quite enjoyed what was delivered instead: found families, the bonds of small community, love and support between people in a beautifully drawn setting.
*Stephen Shanahan is one of the best narrators IMO and didn’t let me down at all. Highly recommend on audio if you enjoy an Australian accent.
