The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan

5.0

I love poetry and David Leviathan got me itching to write some of my own. I haven't read a whole book dedicated to telling multiple stories through verse, but I found it actually fun (if not a little confusing at times due to the first person narrative and the many characters, but I liked that about it.) The book was simple, but it ran deep, touching down on the thoughts that run through our minds and spelling it out in a creative way. The characters were all different, dealing with their own problems and feelings. The problems were realistic and relatable: unrequited love, expectations, health, self-hatred, self discovery and improvement and friendship and all other kinds of relationships. I suspect that the message was that love conquers all and that there is possibility in everything and everyone.
I'm really glad I decided to read this book after all :)
