Overall thoughts:
I really liked this book. This book was super fun and exciting at the same time. Hyacinth was so fun to read about. I’ve always enjoyed reading about Hyacinth in the other books. I thought that she always kept her siblings on their toes. She reminds me a lot of how Eloise is in the tv show which is fun. I thought the way she goes about the world and how she deals with things was really interesting and new from the other Bridgerton siblings. I love how she always speaks her mind even if she should probably keep quiet. This was actually something that we see from little Hyacinth in the show and I love that.

I adored the treasure hunt aspect of the book. It was one of my favourite parts of the book. It was so fun. Reading the journals and going to the St. clair house in the middle of the night was so exciting to read about especially with how excited Hyacinth got about it.r The love interest Gareth was really interesting to read about. He, like most of the books, has daddy issues. He learns that he is not his father’s son and leaves his family home years ago. Everything he does is somehow to prove something to his father. I also really loved Hyacinth's dynamic with lady danbury. I thought all of their scenes were so funny and great to follow along. The scenes where she would read to her were so funny. I also liked how she was shipping Hyacinth and Gareth since day one.

The relationship between Hyacinth and Gareth was super cute as well and I thought that they were such a cute couple. I really loved the relationship that she shared with her mother. I thought it was super sweet and cute. Overall this book was amazing and I adored it so much.

Plot:
The plot of this book was super fun and enjoyable. We follow Hyacinth who has not managed to find a husband yet. She spends every Tuesday reading to Lady Danbury.Gareth has had a troubled relationship with his father. His late brother's wife gives him his grandmother's journal which he can’t read about as it's in Italian. Hyacinth, who knows Italian, agrees to help Gareth translate it.

Together the both of them try to find diamonds that Gareth’s grandmother hid. We also follow as they both fall in love with each other and figure out their feelings while struggling with their own problems. I really adored the plot of this book. I thought it was amazing and I loved it.

Characters:
I adored both of the characters in this book. I thought that they were just the best . I adored Hyacinth so much she is my favourite Bridgerton sibling and it was sad that the book was ending and we wouldn’t be getting anything from her point of view anymore. I just adored all her interactions with everything and how she spoke her mind and just everything about her was the best. Gareth was fun.

I liked his character and how he proposed to Hyacinth twice because he knew the first time he didn’t have the right intention. I was glad when he finally stopped thinking about his father all the time. That was a bit annoying. Overall I really loved both of these characters a lot.

Romance:
These two were so cute. I really liked how Gareth could hold his own against Hyacinth and once all of their miscommunication was out of the way they really could trust each other and could be around each other with no barriers. The treasure hunts and the diary where they really began to know each other was really sweet. I also thought it was funny how worried Gareth would get after hyacinth would go out on her own. I really adored these two.

Endingbthoughts:
I really loved this book. I thought it was amazing and such a good time. I adored the plot and characters and story so much. I wish we could just skip to these two for Netflix as they are such an entertaining couple and story.
