Family drama done well.

Georgia Carter is professional lie detector she reads body language like it’s a menu at Chilies. After years of living in London, far away from her southern roots and an unexpected death ushers her home.  She thinks she’s prepared to face her family, but tensions are high and secrets are unraveling.

Georgia returns home where she comes meets Sam Penny. Instantly drawn to each other Georgia has to make a decision,  follow her instincts with Sam and hurt someone close to her or give up on the possibility of having what she’s never had.

Her ability to read people is both incredibly impressive and beyond disturbing. Do any of us want someone who can read every emotion and feeling we have without saying a word?

The family a dysfunctional  cast of characters hold secrets both old and new. All threatening to push them beyond the breaking point. Georgia is determined to save the ones she loves but at what cost?
